**Role overview**

The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring timely and effective implementation of all company’s policies, procedures, and activities involved in assuring the quality of manufactured products. He maintains close working relationships with other department managers and supervisory personnel in order to meet and maintain product quality, identify, solve and prevent problems affecting product quality, maximize productivity, and comply with regulatory requirements.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Maintain records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation.
- Formulate procedures to inspect and report quality issues.
- Monitor all operations that affect quality.
- Implementing preventative measures to prevent health hazards.
- Ensuring checklists are met on a regular basis.
- Managed a team of quality controllers.
- Implementation of Food Safety and Quality Assurance strategy, goals, and objectives.
- Develop, implement, and maintain food safety goals, objectives, policies, and procedures such as HACCP, sanitation, temperature logs, cleaning list, etc.
- Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output.
- Ensure all legal standards are met.
- Identifies quality defects and food safety issues and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends solutions to these issues.
- Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
- Plan, coordinate and audit quality assurance activities ensuring all department activities meet established standards.
- Ensure work environments are adequate and safe.
- Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
- Ensuring products are designed with adherence to legal and safety standards.
**Qualifications**
- University graduate
- Degree in microbiology is a plus
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant, hotel or food production facility or related field required.
- Proven experience as a quality assurance supervisor or relevant role
- Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standard
- **Knowledge and competency**
- Excellent written & communications skills in English
- Great attention to detail and a results driven approach
- Reliable and Trustworthy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- HACCP Certified (preferred)
- Extremely focused on personal and food safety.
- Able to support a food safety culture.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
