Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Proactively identify and track upcoming geoconsulting-related proposal opportunities, maintaining a robust pipeline and proposal calendar.
- Develop and implement a structured proposal management process, including proposal strategy, timeline, and resource planning.
- Coordinate the proposal team, including writers, geotechnical/geological experts, and supporting functions, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality proposal content.
- Review and provide feedback on proposal drafts, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with client requirements, and alignment with the company's value proposition.
- Ensure proposals adhere to all formatting, branding, and submission requirements specified by the client.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
- Analyze proposal performance, capture lessons learned, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the company's proposal capabilities.
- Provide training and mentorship to the proposal team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related scientific field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in proposal management, business development, or client-facing roles in the geoconsulting or engineering industry.
- Proven track record of developing and submitting successful, high-value proposals for geotechnical and geological consulting services.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple concurrent proposals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into compelling and persuasive narratives.
- Proficient in proposal development tools and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build consensus among stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to geotechnical and geological consulting operations.
