In this pivotal role, you will oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations. Working closely with internal stakeholders and vendors, you will contribute to maintaining financial integrity and efficiency within our accounting department.

Your expertise will be essential in managing accounts payable operations and driving continuous improvements to enhance our processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and manage the accounts payable team to ensure efficient processing of vendor invoices and timely payments.
- Review and approve invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices or payments.
- Maintain vendor records and ensure accurate, up-to-date information in the accounting system.
- Conduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions and ensure adherence to internal controls and procedures.
- Prepare analytical reports on accounts payable metrics and provide insights for management review.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
- Stay current with best practices in accounts payable and financial regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in accounts payable or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
