About the Role
The Account Leader role is critical for building and maintaining Mott MacDonald’s relationships with our multidisciplinary client in KSA, planning the account, and building a client-centric experience. You will be expected to win great work, grow key client accounts to maximise opportunities for Mott MacDonald, and be accountable for the delivery of excellent projects.
This role will provide support ensuring that the client’s projects are delivered to time, cost and quality and that Mott MacDonald is commercially successful. You will play a lead role in gaining trust with our clients and will have a wide network of stakeholders to manage including Client representatives, Sector Leaders, Divisional General Managers, Resource Managers, Bid Principal/Manager, Project Managers, Practice Leaders, and other stakeholders with interest in the Client.
Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:
- Developing strong and robust client relationships
- Growing and developing key Accounts within Mott MacDonald in response to organisational needs and Mott MacDonald strategy
- Identifying Opportunities and turning them into Prospects;
- Driving the bidding process, converting Prospects into Projects ensuring bids are technically and commercially sound;
- Delivering commercially robust projects and quality outcomes for Clients to budget on schedule through project teams
- Managing risk and commercial performance on the projects for their Account
- Working effectively with the Resource Manager and the Sector/Practice
- Running appropriate account meetings with client and senior-level management involvement
- Addressing client’s issues and fulfilling their aspirations on sustainability
- Minimum Bachelors’ Degree in any relevant discipline
- Demonstrable experience of working and building strategically successful relationships with key clients across KSA
- Evidence of working with Government and Giga City clients in KSA and the ability to leverage relationships.
- A broad range of experience across different sectors and segments with specific expertise in at least one.
- Using interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships and also creating effective working environments.
- Able to manage/collaborate with multiple teams with diverse backgrounds on geographically and culturally diverse teams
- The ability to prioritise, influence without authority, and collaborate is fundamental
- Ability to travel internationally at relatively short notice
