As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for:

- Conducting routine laboratory tests, including the necessary checks and operations of equipment required in the laboratory.
- Working together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information.
- Executing routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in teams under supervision.
- Performing moderately complex assignments which may include equipment, facilities or product design.
- Carrying out all required responsibilities safely and as described in the standard operations manual. Communicates results to supervisor in detailed manner.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical Engineering.
- Have at least 3 years’ experience in a related field
- Have good oral and written communication skills.
- Have intermediate to advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have good understanding of plant safety.
