**Summary
Thales’ CPL division creates some of the worlds’ best and most innovative products in the Identity and Access Management space, which with the addition of the One Welcome solution suite, now offers a comprehensive CIAM solution, thus elevating the identity security for Consumers, GIG workers, 3rd party contractors and Workforce alike.
The Pre-Sales Consultants will work closely together with the META regional sales teams and other EMEA focused Pre-Sales Consultants to transform customer requirements into real-world solutions using the products, skill and expertise within Thales’s CPL team. The Pre-Sales Consultant is a customer-facing role providing Pre-Sales assistance predominantly on Identity, Authentication and Access Management technologies such as CIAM, cloud-based authentication, on-premises authentication solutions, and card management systems.
The position will focus on the META territory; the territory would include areas like, Turkey, South Africa, Egypt, Oman, Qatar as well as Saudi Arabia to name a few and will eventually require travel throughout the region where the business opportunity uncovered and requires Pre-Sales support.
**Experience
- Experience with Consumer Identity Protection, Authentication solutions or other Identity Management and Security products and solutions (Access management, single sign-on, identity federation, consent management, external authorisation, delegation and relation management etc.)
- Skilled in presenting to both management (C-level) and technical personnel (developers, IT teams, etc.) with excellent verbal and objection-handling skills
- Experience authoring product-focused technical documents such as RFIs, RFPs, etc.
- Experience in using APIs for integrations. Awareness of swagger and associated tools and API use is an advantage.
- An understanding of the concept of Cryptography and Security - ideally including several of the following: PKI, digital signatures, certificates, OpenID Connect, SAML, FIDO, SmartCard and SmartCard Management systems e.g. Verasec CMS or Intercede MYID. Awareness of Hardware Security Modules is an advantage
- Other experiences with Identity & Access Management solutions (trust and assurance, Identity Governance & Administration, Privileged Access Management) are welcome
- Familiarity with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Remote Access, Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Microsoft Certificate Services, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Active Directory Federation Services or other Federation Services, Microsoft Azure, Office 365
- Understanding of different compliances like GDPR, PCIDSS, PSD2 or eIDAS would be a benefit
- Hands on experience in technically presenting solutions to small focused users and large groups
- Experienced in working with Value Added Distributors or Value Added Resellers is a nice to have
