**What is the role?**
- Complete payments and control expenses by receiving processing, verifying and reconciliation invoices
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
- Charge expenses to accounts and cost centres by analysing invoice/expense report
- Pay vendors by monitoring scheduling and preparing payments
- Reconcile the accounts payable to ensure all invoices and payments are accounted accurately
- Resolve purchase orders, contracts, invoices or payment discrepancies and documentation
- Understand accounts payable
- Understand expense accounts and cost centres
- Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
- Generate and deliver reports to various departments as required
- Work collaboratively with all Group Accountants to ensure accuracy in finances
- Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in both ingoing and outgoing payments
- AD hoc finance reporting as requested by the Head of Finance

**What will you be doing day-to-day?**
- Generate Bank Statements
- Bank Reconciliation
- Vendor Reconciliation
- General Ledger Reconciliation
- Release vendor payments as per payment terms
- Coordinate with Beirut
- Handle Office Petty Cash
- Reconcile Site petty cash
- Updating Day to Day Transaction
- Coordinate with receivables accountant to Prepare VAT File
- Assisting Head of Finance Daily

**What kind of person are you?**
- Excellent understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in English and fluency in Arabic
- Excellent in MS office especially Excel
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time-management skills
- Superb interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of database and spreadsheet software
- Knowledge of Current RMS or similar system preferred
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping
- Thorough, data entry skills, flawless attention to detail, information analysis
- You are highly organised with excellent administration skills and flawless attention to detail
- You take pride in your work and are thorough
- You are unfazed by tight deadlines and conflicting priorities and remain calm and collected under pressure
- You have an excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite
- You are a quick learner, willing to grow and develop
- You are willing to seize responsibility
- You are great with people at all levels
- You are a confident and engaging communicator
- You are self-motivated and can work effectively as part of a team
