About the job:
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a passionate and innovative Sales Specialist, Application Platform to join us in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will manage the adoption of Red Hat's Cloud and Application Platform products and associated services to our customers across KSA and Northern Gulf countries. You will work in a matrix structure and own product targets by selling with and through the Account Sales team. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for managing strategic and transformational sales opportunities in a customer account and ensuring Red Hat’s technical and business value proposition is established with key decision-makers in the most compelling manner.

What you will do:

- You will be responsible for customer account growth strategy for Cloud and Application Platform portfolio of products and services
- You will closely collaborate with the Sales Account team in the account planning process; analyze customer’s business drivers and priorities create a narrative that positions Red Hat solutions as a key ingredient in delivering technology-fueled innovation and digital transformation
- You will manage a complex sales cycle from prospecting to the closing in collaborating with the account management team, solution architects, and professional services organization
- Meet quantitative and qualitative performance expectations
- Leverage your leadership skills and extensive specialist experience in identifying transformation projects by engaging senior executives (C-Level decision-makers) and win their mindshare
- Responsible for capturing compelling reasons and clearly illustrating the business value of the Red Hat technology solution. Leverage Red Hat Presales, Consulting, and Business Unit resources to ensure Red Hat’s solution is tailored to meet customer’s business requirements. Ensure the business value derived from the Red Hat technology solution and competitive differentiators are understood and agreed upon by the customer decision-makers
- You will enable the Red Hat sales teams and partners so that they are also able to effectively communicate to business the business value derived from Red Hat solutions
- Leverage Red Hat’s journey based service engagement programs, and commercial buying programs to build long term strategic relationships with customers
- Produce reference-able success stories for strategic solution wins

What you will bring:

- Specialist knowledge is required in the following domains:

- Hybrid Cloud (Public Cloud, Private Cloud)
- Containers and Hybrid Cloud
- DevOps / Testing / Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) / Agile
- Cloud-Native Development
- APIs and Integrations
- Application developments and runtimes
- IT Automation & Management
- Ability to present the business value of technology solutions
- Consumption Pricing models vs. Subscriptions and Licenses
- Understanding of Red Hat software portfolio and competitive offerings
- 10+ years of experience in selling enterprise software products, Cloud services, or related technology offerings
- Value-based solution sellers. Who can translate customer’s business and transformation objectives to the value delivered by technology solutions
- Creative thinking, communication, and presentation skills are necessary
- Passion for open source technology, and understanding of Red Hat software subscription business model
- Proven ability to work seamlessly with global, cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers
- Balance of strategic, tactical, technical, and creative thinking skills
