Position Overview:
We are seeking an ambitious and energetic Sales Manager to join our pre-opening team. You will be responsible for driving room and event sales, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the hotel's overall commercial success from its very first day of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and executing the hotel's sales strategy to achieve revenue goals across transient, corporate, group, and MICE segments.
- Identify new business opportunities through proactive sales calls, networking, and market research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, travel agents, DMCs, and event planners.
- Conduct site inspections, sales presentations, and promotional activities to showcase the hotel's offerings.
- Participate in sales roadshows, trade fairs, and industry events to promote the property.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the hotel's CRM system.
- Collaborate with Revenue and Marketing teams to develop targeted packages, promotions and digital campaigns.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts and pipeline updates.
- Support the General Manager with budget planning and market intelligence.
- Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably with an international hotel brand.
- Pre-opening experience is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to close deals and build long-term business relationships.
- Strong knowledge of the Al Khobar and Eastern Province corporate and leisure markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Currently working or must be eligible to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
