Role Description:

Role Overview The Site Merchandising & Designer owns how Avnzor looks, feels, and converts. This role is responsible for delivering a high-performing, visually strong e-commerce experience that drives sales, improves conversion, and builds trust with customers. You will manage the homepage, category pages, promotions, banners, product listing strategy, UX consistency, and site design quality across all devices. Your role is not about "making things look nice" — it's about creating a commercial, conversion-driven shopping experience. This is a performance role, not a support function.

Key Responsibilities

Site Merchandising & Trading

● Own the homepage, category pages, PLP and PDP layouts.

● Plan and execute weekly and monthly promotional calendars.

● Control product placement based on:

  • Margin
  • Stock availability
  • Priority brands
  • Business objectives

● Build and optimize:

  • Collections
  • Featured products
  • Product bundling
  • Upsell and cross-sell logic

● Ensure the site reflects:

  • Saudi seasonal needs
  • Campaign priorities
  • Inventory realities

Design & User Experience (UX/UI)

● Ensure a smooth, consistent brand experience across:

  • Desktop
  • Mobile
  • App

● Own all site design standards including:

  • Banner layouts
  • Visual hierarchy
  • Font usage
  • Color rules

● Improve:

  • Navigation flow
  • Page layout
  • Customer journey

● Ensure the site:

  • Loads fast
  • Feels premium
  • Is easy to shop
  • Is visually clear

Conversion Optimization

● Actively improve:

  • Conversion Rate (CVR)
  • Bounce Rate
  • Time on site
  • Add-to-cart rate

● A/B test layouts, banners, navigation and designs.

● Identify weak pages and redesign them.

● Optimize product discovery paths.

● Align merchandising decisions with performance data — not instinct.

Content & Visual Standards

● Ensure all visual assets are:

  • Clean
  • On-brand
  • Commercially focused

● Maintain design quality and consistency across:

  • Banners
  • Product graphics
  • Landing pages

● Control and approve:

  • Creative output
  • Site imagery
  • Visual messaging

Collaboration

● Work closely with:

  • Marketing team
  • Buyers
  • Performance team
  • Tech / Dev team

● Translate campaigns into site experiences.

● Ensure site readiness for:

  • Launches
  • Sales events
  • Category pushes

Skills & Experience

Required

● Experience in e-commerce merchandising & design

● Strong understanding of:

  • UX principles
  • CRO (conversion rate optimization)
  • E-commerce best practices

● Good commercial mindset:

  • Understands revenue
  • Understands margin
  • Understands product performance

● Comfortable working in:

  • Fast-paced

Key KPIs

This role is performance-driven. Examples of KPIs include:

● Conversion Rate improvement

● Organic revenue growth

● Increase in average order value

● Category performance improvement

● Bounce rate reduction

● Speed of site updates

● Campaign execution accuracy

● Visual quality consistency across site

● Revenue from featured placements

● Customer experience improvement signals (repeat visits, time on site)

Failure to deliver consistently will trigger performance review.
