Job Overview:

Our client, a renowned ultra-luxury events and banqueting company, is seeking a highly creative and skilled Head Mixologist to lead their beverage program. This role is responsible for developing innovative cocktail concepts, curating bespoke beverage menus, and ensuring world-class bar service across high-profile luxury banqueting events. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional mixology expertise, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of luxury standards in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation of innovative and bespoke cocktail menus tailored to luxury banqueting events.
  • Oversee the beverage program, ensuring the highest quality of ingredients, presentation, and service standards.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise bartenders and beverage staff, instilling consistency and excellence across all bar operations.
  • Collaborate with event managers, chefs, and clients to design customized beverage pairings and experiences.
  • Manage inventory, sourcing, and cost control while maintaining premium product selection.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in all bar operations.
  • Stay ahead of global mixology trends, techniques, and premium beverage innovations to deliver cutting-edge concepts.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, delivering engaging guest interactions and elevating the overall event experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Extensive background in mixology and beverage program management within luxury hospitality, banqueting, or high-end bars.
  • Proven ability to craft innovative, trend-setting cocktails and bespoke beverage experiences.
  • Strong leadership and training skills, with experience managing bar teams in luxury environments.
  • Exceptional knowledge of premium spirits, wines, champagnes, and non-alcoholic alternatives.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills with a strong service orientation.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and world-class standards.
  • Proficiency in beverage management systems and related tools is highly valued.
