The Senior Manager of Retail Credit Portfolio Management is responsible on all activities pertaining to Retail Credit Portfolio Management.

  • This role analyses the full credit life cycle from origination, through collection to write off and recovery, using various risk indicators and early warning reports; such as significant incident rate, delinquency monitoring, vintage analysis, and segmentation, and consequently generate a comprehensive MI Pack of reports on monthly basis.
  • The role also includes the responsibility of managing and monitoring various models and scorecards relevant to retail credit.
  • Ensuring healthy and well performing credit portfolio, and thus responsible in defining and monitoring of risk appetite, and various caps on portfolio, products, segments as needed.
  • Management of schemes including enrollment, upgrade, downgrade, segmentation and monitoring of schemes performance.
  • Prepares risk recommendations to senior management in order to implement relevant actions which will ensure a proper control of risk. Maintains and enhances provisioning models through quantitative technics, besides managing and monitoring of various models and scorecards relevant to retail credit.
  • Be a stakeholder in programs, projects implementation related to retail credit activities.
  • Manages all activities of Retail Credit Risk Portfolio functions and ensures the full credit life cycle analyses are complete.
  • Be the Retail Credit Portfolio representative with other business lines.
  • Maintains the quality and delivery of required tasks.
  • Ensures the staff training and development, proposes specified development programs as well as overseeing the continues inhouse staff enrichment.
  • Provides analytical support segmenting and monitoring credit, concentration limits, etc. and makes recommendations in order to take decision as needed.
  • Makes strategic recommendations to ensure a proper control of risk.
  • Controls and optimizes the portfolio quality.
  • Production of a comprehensive MI Pack.
  • Submission of regulatory reporting.
  • Provides analytics support for portfolios on needed basis.
  • Monitoring and defining risk appetite, and various caps on portfolio, products, segments as needed.
  • Leads and supports team to develop and maintain analysis reports.
  • Manage and monitor schemes management activities.
  • Scorecard monitoring:
  • Recommends proper action to ensure optimal decisions from scorecards (modification of cutoff strategies, recalibration, redevelopment and etc.)
  • Shares the summary models with the Management to implement suggested modifications.
  • Oversee models pertaining to IFRS9 provisioning in liaison with Risk Strategy Division.
  • Modifies and redevelops existing models as and when required (PD, LGD, EAD).
  • Modifies and enhances the existing Retail DataMart (SAS) in interacting with IT to ensure data quality and consistency with other Business line.
  • Be involved with ongoing projects and systems development activities that are impacting the retail credit process and data.
  • Miscellaneous duties/projects as assigned.

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Financial Services, Accounting or Economics
  • 8+ years of experience in the similar field
  • Minimum 6 years of management experience in banking environment
  • High level of IT skills
  • Good knowledge of programing languages SQL, Java etc.
  • Knowledge of business analytics.
  • Ability of resolve problems, be capable of thorough research, and develop alternatives and solutions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Business and IT
