The Opportunity

We have an exciting job opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Modern Trade Business Development Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing Modern Trade's Business Development Plans, aligning with strategic objectives and business unit goals.

Join our team and lead the sales organization in driving brand growth, volume, value, and margin targets across all Modern Trade channels.


Responsibilities:


Lead the Modern Trade sales organization at the regional or country level, ensuring the achievement of brand, volume, value, and margin targets.

Utilize Category Management best practices and allocate resources efficiently to drive business growth within the agreed financial framework.

Take direct accountability and management responsibility for negotiating with Key Account Customers at the highest level, building strong trading relationships.

Manage and nurture relationships with Key Customers throughout the GCC, positioning our company as the preferred trading partner in each category.

Gain a deep understanding of our Key Customers' needs and translate them into actionable insights to build mutually beneficial partnerships.

Communicate and implement a clear vision for Category Growth within our customer base across the GCC region.


Minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Development or Key Accounts Management / Sales Management, preferably in the Modern Trade sector.


This should include at least a:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing International Key Accounts, demonstrating a deep understanding of global market dynamics.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sales Manager in the FMCG industry, successfully leading sales teams and driving revenue growth.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong negotiation skills and experience in Joint Business Planning, with a track record of building mutually beneficial partnerships.

Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes, translating insights into effective business strategies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in Arabic to effectively engage with local stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, leveraging exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Valid driving license.
