Barco is looking for a Customer Service Engineer with Project Management skills to reinforce its existing team in the Saudi Arabia office.


This new function will combine two roles:
As Customer Service Engineer, you'll support our partners in deploying and servicing visualization systems in the Corporate and Control Room area and you will be key to ensure Barco remains a truly service
- and client-oriented company.

As a Project Manager you are responsible for the deployment of different projects, from initiating to planning, executing, controlling, and closing in order to ensure successful completion of all agreed stage gates within the agreed specifications, like schedule, budget and contractual requirements.

The Project Manager acts as the primary interface between all relevant stakeholders, both external and internal.

Key responsibilities Customer Service Engineer

  • Provide technical remote and onsite support to Barco's Corporate and Control Room Customers in the Saudi and broader Middle East area.
  • Repair and troubleshooting of Barco hard
- and software.

  • Assist at sales demos in order to promote our Barco's solutions.
  • Give product training to partners and endusers
  • Execute proactive analysis visits, report and provide suggestions.
  • Collect insights and feedback on our products from customers and partners and feed them back to the product managers and R&D teams
  • Document actions and solutions in a timely fashion.
  • Follow training to update your technical, commercial and soft skills.
  • Build a relationship with the Customers and detect Service sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities Project Manager

  • Defining, monitoring and managing project schedule
  • Monitoring and managing the allocated project budget
  • Achieving full delivery according to the scope of the project and the required quality level
  • Accountable for interfacing with the customer and assuring customer satisfaction
  • Represent the customer within the company
  • Coordinate subcontractors if appropriate and other departments in an efficient and effective way
  • Follow up & communicate project status and KPI's to all relevant stakeholders
  • If required, initiate corrective actions and ensure proper escalation to the right people (report problems on time when certain goals cannot be reached)
  • Manage project scope and project risks
  • Write internal and external project reports
  • Support proposal and bid activity if appropriate

Requirements:

  • Min 3 years of experience in a technical customer (Service/Sales) environment in Visualization industry
  • Good knowledge of hardware, software and networking technologies.
  • Is used to work on different projects at the same time, is stress resistant and able to set priorities
  • Communicates fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of any additional language is an asset.
  • Is service
- and client-oriented.

  • Knows project management techniques (PMI/PMBOK)
  • Experience with Barco's products and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Is willing to travel
