What You'll Be Doing:

  • The Administration Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Procurement function and ensuring that all procurementrelated administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and performing a variety of clerical duties.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Assist the procurement team in the preparation of procurement documents and reports, such as purchase orders and contracts.
  • Assist with the coordination of procurement projects.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments as required.
  • Maintain and update procurement records and databases.
  • Manage and maintain accurate procurement filing systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of procurementrelated presentations and training materials.
  • Coordinate procurement meetings and take meeting minutes. Support the Procurement team with any other administrative tasks as required.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a procurement or purchasing department
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to manage a large group of senior technical personnel, the ability to drive excellence in field of expertise, focusing on safety, quality and improvement of processes, mentoring, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required.
  • Must also demonstrate the ability to effectively execute and manage complex tasks.
  • Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific software. Must be capable of conducting focused briefings to all levels of management. This includes effective problem solving and exercising excellent judgment regarding timing and senior management involvement in significant issues. Ability to network across departments and key external stakeholders.
