Responsibilities:

Partnership Management

  • Manage the daytoday activities of sourcing and selection processes for KAPSARC outreach in collaboration with internal stakeholders to select the highest value partners that can support KAPSARC strategic objectives.
  • Review potential agreements with KAPSARC's partners to ensure that all agreements are formulated in compliance with internal standards and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Build and manage relationships with assigned partners to ensure a sustainable collaboration that benefits KAPSARC.
  • Support implementation of strategic partnership initiatives to ensure successful achievement of desired business outcomes.
Resource Management

  • Systematically track and provide key inputs, when consulted, regarding partner and potential partner details (contact information, credentials, capabilities, etc.) to support internal decisionmakers while allocating partners to projects.
Project/Performance Monitoring

  • Understand and engage substantively on energy economic and sustainability research conducted by KAPSARC in conjunction with outside collaborators to help shape outcomes and ensure successful collaboration.
  • Monitor partners' performance against agreed metrics to assess risks or deviations from performance milestones.
  • Provide recommendations on risk mitigation and corrective action plans to improve partner performance and ensure high quality outcomes.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement, and cost reduction.
Policies, Systems, Processes, and Procedures

  • Provide input to the design and implementation of policies, systems, and procedures to ensure optimal functioning of the Strategic Partnerships Department in support of KAPSARC objectives and priorities.
Reporting

  • Compile, track, and analyze outreach, partnership, and collaboration data and information to develop reports and dashboards in a timely and accurate manner that provide a systematic overview of department activities and objectives.
Related Assignments

  • Perform any other duties which the organization may require to be carried out.

Competencies:

  • Deep domain knowledge of energy economics and sustainability, as relates to policy and economic research and analysis in support of Saudi and/or global policymaking.
  • Demonstrated aptitude and experience in stakeholder management and outreach in a think tank, research and development organization, or consulting firm is highly preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor ́s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, or any other relevant field, with 913 years of relevant experience, OR
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, International Relations, or any other relevant field, with 711 years of relevant experience, OR
  • Ph.
D. degree in Business Administration, International Relations, or any other relevant field, with 5-9 years of relevant experience.
