Job summary**The role directly supports the HR Director and is accountable to act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to HR Director, leadership and middle management and add value added services.


The role will be responsible to align HR operational initiatives to meet business objectives and to over-see and manage the day-to-day operations of the HR function, DE&I, HSE and Government affairs activities.

The individual will be responsible for partnering with key stakeholders to ensure HR processes and systems run smoothly and efficiently to support the overall business and strategic goals of the affiliate in the short and long term.


The role will include optimizing processes and procedures to enhance employee experiences and organizational effectiveness and acting as a strategic business partner by providing operational advice, consultation and partnering with Management and the Leadership team on people-related issues that are critical to achieving the business prioritizes and objectives for which business leaders are accountable (HR related issues).


Main Accountability/responsibility

HR Strategic Management:

  • Be a HR key resource for shared learning, process improvement, and identification and incorporation of HR best practices into affiliate processes, tools, resources, or guidance.
  • Proactively maintains indepth knowledge of legal, regulatory and local labor law requirements and shares with HR Director as needed.
  • Deliver crossfunctional results on HR projects through people, utilizing project management, influence, and communication skills effectively.
  • Lead on strategic workforce planning to attract and retain top talents.
  • Lead in setting strategic workforce planning in partnership with HR Director and activities to attract top talents.
  • Ensure that the team has identified critical organization capabilities needed to execute the business strategy.
  • Accountable to support any change agenda or change plan that is required for peoplerelated changes needed to achieve long range and business plan objectives including critical organizational capabilities. This role is accountable to actively support the planning, developing, and implementing those changes.
  • Influencing and advises Management in the appropriate diagnosis of business problems and in the selection or design of appropriate HR actions or interventions to improve business performance.
  • Conduct regular meetings with department heads/first line leaders to understand HR business related issues/challenges.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the wider HR community to develop business solutions, polices and processes.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. In addition to ensuring policies are regularly updated to meet the needs of the business in partnership with the HR Director
  • Work closely with HRD and HR team to ensure people scorecard metric/targets are achieved.
  • Provides guidance and inputs on business activities considering HR elements and data analytics.
  • Lead the affiliate health, safety and environment strategic goals and activities, including Business Continuity Plans in partnership with HR Director.
  • Lead and manage the office management including contracting, vendor management and thirdparty employees
  • Lead in partnership with the HR Director the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives and objectives for the affiliate with the aim of enabling and fostering a work environment that promotes diversity, equity and Inclusion; where everyone can bring their true authentic self to work.
  • Lead and manage government affairs for the affiliate, including partnering with thirdparty outsourcing who are contracted for day to day government activities, government mandates and platforms to ensure compliance to regulations, laws and operations.

HR Information Systems:

  • Oversee the HR system workday and other HR systems, to ensure the integrity of the data and business partner to provide user support.
  • Leverage data analytics to influence HR strategy to advance the business and provide key insights and forecasts to Management.
