Job Summary
We are looking for a Corrosion Engineer to join the Global Manufacturing Excellence organization under the Downstream Global Manufacturing Support Department (GMSD).
The GMSD's technical team offers high-quality technical support to global operating facilities.
Your primary responsibilities will include providing technical support, conducting studies, and offering specialized technical corrosion control services.
You will also assist in talent development and technology deployment.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement corrosion management program and on-stream monitoring.
- Conduct risk-based inspection following API-580 methodology.
- Review and approve solutions for coating failures and cathodic protection.
- Participate in HAZOP review sessions and address all issues.
- Manage water treatment program and provide solutions for challenges.
- Validate corrosion controls and damage mechanisms regularly.
- Assess feed composition changes and approve recommended solutions.
- Develop scope and description of technology items and lead field implementation.
- Transfer knowledge on the use of corrosion controls and best practices.
- Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of 12 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Knowledge of international standards and codes like NACE, ASME, API, and ASTM.
- Hold a valid NACE Specialist Certification or equivalent.
