The Talent Acquisition Section Head is responsible for leading the recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management processes within the organization. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the talent acquisition lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to managing new hire orientation, contract finalization, training programs, and performance appraisals. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency in the recruitment process, ensure high-quality hires, and develop a seamless employee experience from onboarding through performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the Hiring Process:
  • Oversee and streamline the recruitment process to reduce Time to Fill open positions, ensuring efficiency in sourcing, screening, and finalizing hires.
  • Ensure a high Job Offer Acceptance Rate by crafting competitive job offers and optimizing the negotiation process.
  • Supervise the phone screening process to maintain a high Screening-to-Interview Ratio, ensuring only qualified candidates proceed to interviews.
Candidate Selection & Hiring Manager Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure that selected candidates meet job requirements, aiming to maintain a high Hiring Manager Satisfaction with the recruitment process and final candidate selections.
  • Ensure the Quality of Hire by tracking the performance of new hires within the first 6-12 months and making data-driven improvements to the selection process.
Onboarding & Orientation:
  • Lead the New Joiner Orientation Program to ensure a smooth transition for all new hires, focusing on high New Joiner Satisfaction rates.
  • Implement a structured onboarding plan to improve the integration of new employees into the organization and ensure they complete required training programs within the first 90 days.
Contract Management & Negotiation:
  • Oversee the contract finalization process and reduce Offer to Contract Time, ensuring quick and efficient contract negotiations once an offer is accepted.
  • Manage the negotiation of terms and conditions with candidates to expedite offer acceptance and contract signing.
Training Program Development & Oversight:
  • Ensure new hires complete the required Training Programs within their first 90 days, tracking and reporting on the Training Program Completion Rate.
  • Oversee Co-op Training Program Participation and ensure interns and co-op students are provided with valuable learning opportunities during their tenure.
Performance Appraisal & Employee Development:
  • Manage the Performance Appraisal Process to ensure 100% completion of appraisals on time and that feedback is delivered to employees for continuous growth.
  • Track and report on employee retention after training to ensure that employees are fully supported in their development and that retention rates meet or exceed organizational targets.
Team Performance & Recruitment Efficiency:
  • Set clear recruitment targets for the team to meet the required number of hires each month and improve Recruiter Productivity.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the recruitment team to maximize efficiency and maintain high standards in all recruitment activities.
Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement:
  • Analyze key recruitment metrics such as Time to Fill, Quality of Hire, and Offer Acceptance Rates to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize the hiring process.
  • Regularly review recruitment strategies to ensure the department is aligned with business objectives and remains competitive in attracting top talent.

Requirements:

5+ years with measurable achievements in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment and training.
