**Job Description**:
**Purpose**:
Responsibility of sales of Drilling Mud Pump Consumables, Centrifugal Pumps and Mud Pressure Valves in Middle East.
**Key Responsibilities: (Key Tasks)**
- Initiate the sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments.
- Develop sales by making initial presentation; explaining product and service enhancements and additions; introducing new products and services.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Contribute information to sales strategies by evaluating current product results; identify needs to be filled; monitor competitive products; analysis and relaying customer reactions.
- Work with other Group sales teams to ensure we are servicing all our customer’s needs.
- Represent the Company at various trade shows, exhibitions, conferences etc.
- Sales visits to customers in the Middle East to ensure we are bringing the right level of support along with the products they require.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- From time to time, may be required to perform other tasks to ensure our mutual success.
- Manage customer interface and elements of projects specific to the region for large orders to ensure continuity and that customer expectations are met.
**Education / Qualifications**:
- Secondary school qualifications.
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Marketing discipline.
**Technical Competencies**:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Drilling Industry and Drilling Consumables.
**Key Skills**:
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proactive in engaging client negotiations for provision of products.
- Self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint accompanied by presentation skills.
**Experience**:
- Previous experience within a similar role.
**QHSE Competencies**:
- Maintain behaviour in compliance with Forum HSE requirements.
- Maintain responsibility and accountability through personal commitment and behaviour.
- Report any unsafe or environmentally unsound acts and conditions to their immediate Supervisor such that remedial action can be taken to manage the risk.
