Primary focus of this job is to profitably grow and develop the Analytical and Detection Products & Solutions in Saudi Arabia in all industries.

Work with customers to understand the challenges and offer the best solution to support the customer and drive for demand generation and sales support activities to achieve the set orders targets strategic growth objectives in alignment in MSOL Business unit and the Regional strategic growth programs. This position is based in Emerson Saudi Arabia Dhahran Techno Valley office in the eastern province and reporting to Regional Director of Measurement Solution Group.

Responsible for business development including product strategy, positioning, pricing, promoting, and order bookings of Rosemount’s Analytical & Detection products and solutions in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. This role encompasses the development of strategies based on the analysis of market trends, developing, and promoting product differentiators, and engaging customers to provide unique solutions. Meeting yearly order’s goal for Analytical products and solutions and developing & implementing long term growth plans for the product line in the region. We operate in a highly competitive environment and the ability to meet our customers’ expectations, lead pursuits efficiently, and shape profitable deals is critical to our success as an organization. This role plays a pivotal role in pursuing and winning strategic projects in the region.

**Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following**:

- Prepare, own and be accountable for the business development plan and roadmap within the specified geographic / market sectors
- Act as the focal point for Liquid, Gas Analytical and Flame & Gas Detection sales in the region
- Ability to operate and adapt to selling in multiple market sectors supporting end users, Emerson Sales Channel and LBP’s alike.
- Prospect, potential new clients and turn this into increased business, using varied contact strategies as appropriate within market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
- Support project team/sales team on early engagement activities with end users, FEED companies and key accounts
- Identify potential new clients, and the decision makers within the client organization - Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Work with company engineering and proposals team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Ownership and responsibility of sales process from lead generation through pursuit and to close - Participate in pricing the solution/service.
- Submit periodic orders progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Using a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
- Obtain and Maintain vendor registration for Analytical products / solutions at key accounts
- Own and drive the Analytical & Detection Products approval in Key Accounts.
- Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
- Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
- Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities.
- Build knowledge of the competitive landscape
- Understand the company’s goal and purpose in order to enhance the company’s performance

Client Retention
- Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
- Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
- Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
- Business Development planning and attending industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
- Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services and products
- Identify opportunities for campaigns and services that will lead to an increase in sales.
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

**What do I need to be considered for this role?**
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of related industry sales, technical, experience in the Process Analytical / Flame & Gas Markets
- Well versed with local Saudi Analytical Market
- Comprehensive knowledge of:

- various gas and liquid analyzer technologies and solutions.
- Gas Chromatographs, Gas Analyzers based on different spectroscopic techniques such as NIR, NDIR, NDUV etc.
- Sample Handling systems, HVAC, Data Acquisition Systems for Emissions reporting
