Receive user complaints and understand the details of the complaint
- Ensure Security of IT hardware, Network, and computer systems are maintained.
- Monitor and manage the threats from viruses and spam, update the client workstations with the latest antivirus definitions
- Manage and monitor the online data backup systems and validate the data with routine restore procedure
- Install and configure client PC, printers, and print server devices
- Upgrade the user's PC software licenses and hardware
- Conduct regular check-ups and inspections for maintenance of the servers, PCs, and printers
- Attend user queries by phone
- Conduct diagnostic checks and analyze the extent of problems
- Help the users to solve specific problems with the computer software or hardware (First Level User Support)
- Visit the user site to understand the problem
- Coordinate with the IT Lead and Senior Analysts in case the problem cannot be immediately resolved.
- Notify users about any upcoming enhancements
- Monitor the Operating System running on the servers
- Manage restarting and maintenance of the servers
- Manage network configuration and documentation
