Job Description: IT Delivery Manager

As an IT Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of IT projects within our organization. You will lead cross-functional teams comprising of developers, engineers, testers, and other IT professionals to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality solutions. Your primary focus will be on coordinating project activities, managing resources, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Manage end-to-end project delivery, from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and frameworks.

2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.

3. Build and manage high-performing project teams, including resource allocation, task assignment, and performance management.

4. Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource requirements, ensuring realistic expectations are set and communicated.

5. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

6. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, operations, and business analysts, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

7. Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide accurate cost forecasts to support financial planning and reporting.

8. Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and stakeholder reviews, ensuring that decisions are documented and actions are tracked.

9. Ensure the quality of project deliverables through effective quality assurance activities such as testing, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards.

10. Provide regular project status updates and reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and dependencies.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

2. Proven experience working as an IT Delivery Manager or similar role, involving the successful delivery of complex IT projects within agreed timelines and budgets.

3. In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or PRINCE2.

4. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

5. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices in software engineering, quality assurance, and delivery management.

6. Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Trello.

7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project updates, risks, and issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions to overcome project challenges.

9. Experience with IT infrastructure and related technologies, including networks, servers, security, and cloud platforms, is desirable.

10. Professional certifications such as PMP, Agile, or ITIL are a plus.
