**Job Description and Qualifications**

The NEOM Helios project is one of the largest and most complex capital projects for Air Products and is transformational for the organization and beyond. The first industrial-scale mega project will provide a green energy carrier worldwide to contribute to the industry's decarbonization. This position's complexity is derived from the size of this project with a high amount of executing parties, engineering offices, material suppliers, and construction sites at the same time. Additionally, unique quality challenges are stemming from the individual specifics of the scope in each element.
- NEOM Green Hydrogen EPC Project includes:
- a 2,500 MW (*) solar power plant.
- a 1,250 MW (*) wind farm.
- battery storage facilities for power storage.
- an electrical grid system to connect the various facilities and (back-up) connection(s) to the primary electrical grid.
- a 2,2 GW (*) hydrogen electrolysis plant.
- a 103,000 Nm3 (*) per hour (N2) air separation unit (ASU);
- hydrogen and nitrogen storage facilities.
- nameplate capacity of 1.4 Mtpa (*) green ammonia plant and storage; and
- a maritime offloading facility including a connection to the ammonia storage facility
This position, the Senior Commercial Manager, NEOM Helios project, is responsible for the commercial and contract management of the NEOM Helios project and is the key commercial point of contact between Air Products and NEOM Helios JVCo.
- This individual will ensure the effective delivery of the requirements of the contract including client relationship management, billing and invoicing, negotiating variations and claims and management of commercial risk. The role will also maintain oversight of project execution, with particular focus on project delivery to contract terms, through participation in key internal and external project review meetings and close collaboration with the project director.
- The position reports to the Global Commercial Manager of Equipment Sales and Plant Support, and, for execution of the NEOM Helios project, to the Vice President of NEOM Helios.
- The position will be supported by an indirect report; Commercial Manager, NEOM Helios Project.**NATURE AND SCOPE**
The Equipment Sales & Plant Support business area is responsible for global Equipment and After Sales Services to third party customers and AP joint ventures.
- Air Products’ goal is to have a “focused and selective” Equipment Sales and After Sales Services business that proactively supports the company’s competitiveness and growth initiative. Specifically, this business provides a broad range of cryogenic and non-cryogenic new plant offerings for large industrial gas plants, and equipment used for gas separations in the oil and gas, refining, power, chemicals, mining, and other industries. Technologies can include large ASUs, SYNGAS separation for H2 and CO production, Nitrogen rejection units and Helium recovery equipment for EOR/ and natural gas processing projects, or other gas separations using Air Products expertise.
- In addition, ESPS is the commercial lead for Air Products’ delivery of EPC or equipment sale projects to partners and joint ventures and world scale mega-projects.
- The NEOM Helios project, the keystone of Air Products’ green hydrogen and green ammonia investment ambitions, requires a dedicated senior lead for Commercial Management throughout the execution phase.**DIMENSIONS**:

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Provide Commercial Management for NEOM Helios Project.
- Contract review, assessment, guidance
- Routine contracts administration through to final account resolution & close-out
- Change order/claims development for delay and disruption, changes in specification and scope of work growth.
- Assisting schedule control with delay analyses for extension of time Claims
- Drafting Contractual letters to Owner
- Day-to-day guidance and direction of Commercial Manager, NEOM Helios Project.

**Education/Qualifications**:
- B.Sc. Technical degree (or equivalent); MBA a plus
- Expected minimum 15 years’ experience including at least 10 years in commercial role (Contract Management, Commercial management, Business Development or Proposal Management).
