**Position Overview**: As the Assistant Director of Catering, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our catering operations, ensuring seamless execution of events and functions. You will work closely with the Director of Catering to develop strategies, build client relationships, and drive revenue growth while upholding the highest standards of service excellence.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with the Director of Catering to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the catering business.
- Lead a team of catering professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure exceptional performance and service delivery.
- Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including menu selection, logistics, staffing, and vendor coordination.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver customized and memorable experiences.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverage offerings, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze data, and generate reports to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in catering or event management, preferably within the luxury hospitality sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals and exceed expectations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering flawless experiences.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
