Job Description
- With the support and guidance of the Regional Sales Manager develop a sales strategy
- Conduct research into the market and client/potential client securing marketing resources to support delivery of sales development activity
- Agree and be responsible for ensuring that order intake, turnover and margin targets are achieved in the Middle East, with new and existing customers
- Be responsible for and strive to reduce the cost of sales to protect or improve margin
- Provide oversight in commercial negotiations with client, liaising with the contracts manager where required
- Ensure that the CRM is kept up to date
- Ensure and monitor that follow-up of sales leads, inquiries and proposals is carried out.
- Actively promote all product lines to meet the goals and expectations as defined in the sales plan.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to improve Company processes and products.

Any other reasonable activity requested by line manager or other senior managers

Technical Competences
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering
- Proven track record of effective sales management
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Experience within a Lean environment advantageous
- Able to understand a technical specification.
- Fluent in English
- Flexible in attitude and skills
- Able to work on own initiative, planning and organising work in line with business priorities
- Able to support colleagues effectively and professionally when they are under pressure
- Self-motivated and committed to the goals of the company
- Able to prioritise work in line with company goals
- Has excellent working relationships with people in their own department and across the organization
- Has excellent communication skills - always listens attentively to others and is willing to act on what s/he hears; speaks with clarity and demonstrates an ability to match their communication style to the
- Will take the initiative and develop innovative solutions to problems
- Able to initiate, develop and maintain effective relationships with clients / potential clients
