We have a significant opportunity in Riyadh as Saudi Arabia begins to build next generation tech / SaaS AI / ML businesses as part of concerted effort to grow their economy outside of fossil fuel. Veup has landed a major play to help them build a Tech scale up ecosystem, where we will not only grow and develop tech businesses but support them on their journey to investment and possible exit. Our plans for 2024 and beyond include extensive internal hiring as well as the launch of our startup centric talent Recruiting-as-a-Service (RaaS) offering.

That’s where you come in. Reporting into our Global Head of Talent (U.K. based), the Senior Recruiter has two key roles to play. First, you will spearhead our growth into the region, building out a best-in-class internal recruitment channel that allows us to recruit top talent into the VeUP, across a range of functions. Secondly, supported by our local business development and sales teams, you will provide talent Recruiting-as-a-Service to our clients: hyper-scale technology startup companies relocating to the region. Key responsibilities include:

- Engaging at startup C-suite / founder level, you will position and deliver a retained senior level recruitment product, alongside lower level multi-functional volume projects and assignments.
- Taking the role of trusted advisor, you will be the key relationship manager and recruiting service provider for a number of tech startup clients, building lasting relationships and protecting ongoing wallet share.
- You will work across the VeUP leadership team to ensure we build an always-on internal recruitment channel, designing relevant recruitment strategies and processes for the roles we need to fill.
- Alongside other departments and colleagues, you will attend relevant events, tradeshows and conferences to promote VeUP and network with tech startup founders and C-suite execs.
- Working closely with our Head of Marketing, you will help drive and reinforce the VeUP brand. You will contribute directly to ensuring that trust and high quality of service are the consistent brand qualities attributed to VeUP by our clients and the broader venture ecosystem.

The Saudi government and Veup are able to offer a fully expensed relocation package (including on housing, travel costs and schooling) alongside low levels of taxation on earnings.
