Account Technology Strategist

The Enterprise Commercial segment in Microsoft Saudi is seeking a "virtual Chief Technical Officer" to provide Account Thought leadership, leverage deep knowledge of Microsoft's solutions, industry, and customer needs, and acts as the voice of the customer, industry, and team. Leads technology strategy formulation by leading alignment of customer needs and technology solutions, execution of technology strategy/digital transformation, creation of mid
- to long-term technical roadmaps, and translation of customer business objectives and develops and drives opportunities, presents opportunities to the customer, and creates demand.
Coaches peers on how to create and maintain an opportunity initiation and how to map Microsoft priorities to opportunities. Leads digital transformation using corporate and cross-industry resources, and partners with line-of-business leader or senior executive to articulate the benefits of Microsoft technology over competitor solutions. Helps customer technical specialists sell Microsoft offerings. Maps technical customer requirements and business scenarios to Microsoft technology platforms. Orchestrates necessary teams and partners to ensure demand generation and establishes best practices for account planning. Delivers regular industry/technology briefings to customer technology senior decision-makers technical teams. Uses readiness resources and demonstrates expertise in creating enablement plans.

**Customer and Industry Insights**
- ** Expertise and Thought Leadership**: Applies deep or broad expertise to develop Industry Sales Kits and identify industry partners, understanding market trends, customer threats, opportunities, and barriers to growth.
- ** Insights and Recommendations**: Combines business and industry insights, global best practices, and case studies to forecast and develop recommendations for managing accounts and planning, challenging customers to consider alternatives and adapt strategies.
- ** Collaboration and Solutions**: Orchestrates cross-regional teams, oversees technical teams, and brings in business and industry insights to address broader business challenges and deliver solutions.
**Education and Thought Leadership**
- ** Customer Technology Engagement**: Leads customer technology engagement by influencing technical resources of customers, partners, and Microsoft towards business transformation and delivers regular industry/technology briefings to senior decision-makers and technical teams.
- ** Enablement and Innovation**: Uses readiness resources to create enablement plans for large customers, drives innovations to help customers meet goals, maximize reach and impact, and promotes long-term engagement and thought leadership on the Microsoft platform.
- ** Customer Skilling Initiatives**: Drives customer skilling initiatives and execution, influencing large customers to see and adopt the strategic value of the Microsoft platform.
**Technology Sales: Demand Generation and Orchestration**
- ** Account Strategy Envisioning**: Leads Account Strategy Envisioning (ASE) with the extended account team, customer, and partner to deliver outcomes through joint envisioning, creating new Stage 1 opportunities, managing the consumption pipeline, and coaching peers on opportunity initiation and best practices.
- ** AI and Industrial Metaverse**: Guides the customer journey into the era of AI and Industrial Metaverse by creating a targeted approach tailored to their business requirements, positioning Microsoft as a leader, and leveraging expertise to plot foundational elements on the technology roadmap.
- ** Strategy and Execution**: Builds a mid-term strategy for AI and metaverse projects, creates an immediate opportunity pipeline, and orchestrates execution through the appropriate technical teams and partners.

- and long-term technology and business roadmaps for strategic accounts, challenges and validates strategies with stakeholders, and translates business objectives into effective Industry Technology Architecture to drive Microsoft cloud adoption.
- ** Needs Analysis and Strategy**: Leads analysis of customer needs, outcomes, and blockers, partners with global executives to develop overall strategy, and identifies key stakeholders for execution on complex accounts.
- ** Technology Adoption and Execution**: Ensures execution of technology strategy and digital transformation by resolving technical blockers and driving technology adoption.
