**Role overview**

We're looking for a driven individual to help us lead and build the efforts of our retail arm in the region.

**Main Responsibilities**

**Operational excellence**
- Direct the development and implementation of procedures and controls
- Direct and monitor store operations to achieve budgeted results and key performance indicators
- Development and preparation of short-term and long-term plans and budgets based upon organizational goals and objectives
- Ultimate owner of retail P&L
- Building reporting mechanisms (daily, weekly, monthly) to support in scaling and managing multiple stores at a time while ensuring quality service
- Ensuring operations are performed at an optimal level within the guidelines set
- Ensuring daily, weekly and monthly reports are submitted on a timely manner by all
- Ensuring that all stores comply with local regulations and laws for the business operations

**Leadership and culture building**
- Owner of building a positive employees culture in all stores
- Collaboration with the people team on developing training programs and calendars
- Responsible for rcruitment of the right caliber and ensure hiring of staff are within the stated budget by store teams
- Collaborating with the different departments on developing practices to deliver the best service possible for customers

**Expansion and growth**
- Final owner of the expansion plans of retail stores across the region
- Owns and guides negotiations for geographic expansion with suppliers
- Develops and follows a three year expansion plan with targets covering financial and geographical locations across multiple countries
- At least 10 years of proven experience in F&B retail operations preferably in the operations and pre-opening spaace
- Strong leadership skills, and has proven experience of building teams/departments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Passion for food and the food industry
