This role assumes the overarching responsibility for supporting organization in the effort at overseeing, managing and leveraging the entire life cycle of projects and technology to optimally achieve goals and objectives. The responsibilities are grouped as follows:
**Project, Program and Portfolio Management**
- Facilitate and coordinate the efforts of operations demands and strategic alignment of projects and programs to bank strategy, through discovery of opportunities, selection and prioritization; to execution, tracking and measuring the achieved results.
- Engage with and conduct quarterly (or at other intervals as specified) reviews with senior leadership members, IT, stakeholder committees, and other committees to validate and assess the project portfolio, execute change, and reprioritize to meet bank needs as required.
- Ensure the oversight and coordination of dependencies across the projects and programs in the portfolio, and resolve or escalate conflicts.
- Drive vendor evaluation and selection for new solutions, review of vendor service level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead reviews of any significant initiatives, projects or programs that are challenged and provide recommendations as to whether it should continue, be significantly changed, placed on hold or discontinued.
- Direct the projects to ensure achievement of projects objectives within constraints of time and budget.
- Work with project teams to manage/oversee the full range of the project life cycle (initiate, plan, execute, close) for projects covering a portfolio of projects which focus on the business needs of a specific business line(s) or strategy.
- Identify staffing needs as mandated and resourced by leadership, ensure and balance the availability of the required skills and competencies across project and program teams within the project portfolio.
- Develop and maintain appropriate banking industry knowledge of common financial services concepts, practices and procedures.
- Lead the development of business requirements, project agreements and review of Functional Specification Documents and acceptance scenarios to ensure adherence to bank quality standards and accuracy of information to deliver anticipated value of bank capital investment.
- Develop and implement framework to realise and present project benefits to various stakeholders across the bank, including the executive team

**Process Improvement, automation and service metrics**
- Develop and implement an efficient and structured approach to identify process improvement opportunities that support the banks strategic plan, brand and business priorities into the future
- Lead cross-functional workshops to elicit detailed business and customer requirements to understand root cause issues and collaborate to discover creative and sustainable customer-centric solutions
- Establish standards for process mapping and where possible leverage software solutions
- Document, design and re-engineering processes and services using the BSF tools and techniques
- Document and improve the authority matrix (RACI) for the processes
- Develop business process document and guide.
- Reengineer the process and suggest efficient working procedures that satisfy the organization’s business goals and objectives.
- Perform continuous studies and researches to improve the business process
- Propose recommendations regarding the most suitable methodologies
- Plan, organize and coordinate the processes improvements within the Business Lines or the Support lines.
- Coordination with departments and other entities to implement improvement projects
- Evaluate the results of improvement projects
- Develop and maintain framework to prioritise initiatives objectively with clear alignment to strategy
- Execute process improvement projects, creating new procedures, develop and implement communication and change management plans
- Lead the development of service quality framework in BSF, tools and methodologies, defining and monitoring service KPIs.
- Providing the strategy, vision, execution and governance for automation with a particular emphasis on RPA
- Lead a team of RPA business analyst and/or vendors to deliver initiatives into production
- Lead workshops to collaborate with SMEs and relevant stakeholders to design RPA solutions and document future state processes, gathering data, to identify costs and projected benefits of RPA
- Responsible for end-to-end robot development lifecycle, maintenance and optimisation post implementation
- Lead the bank wide service metrics documentation, monitoring of processes KPIs, and value proposition enhancements.

**Data Analytics and MIS Reporting**
- Enable continues tracking of the department’s performance, monitoring, and provision of management reports.
- Lead and direct a team of MIS reporting to ensure business reports developed and customized as per their needs and respond to business for ad-hoc regulatory reports in a timely manner.
