The Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with clients. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their business objectives. The Sales Engineer serves as the primary point of contact for clients and works closely with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of products or services.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Understand clients' business goals, challenges, and needs.
- Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, address inquiries, and gather feedback.
- Anticipate clients' future needs and proactively offer solutions.

2. Sales and Revenue Generation:

- Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and upsell products or services.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing to ensure mutual satisfaction.

3. Account Planning and Strategy:

- Analyze market trends and competitors to develop strategic account plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and product development, to align offerings with clients' needs.
- Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure account performance.

4. Customer Support and Issue Resolution:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving any customer issues or concerns.
- Coordinate with appropriate internal teams to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and retention.

5. Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and revenue projections.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.

6. Market Research and Insights:

- Stay updated with industry trends and market developments.
- Gather market intelligence to identify potential opportunities or challenges.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar role.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Ability to understand and articulate complex solutions to clients.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite
