IT Operations Manager

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Kinan Full time

**Main Accountabilities**:
1.Manages the day-to-day operations of the ICT infrastructure by monitoring performance, configuration, maintenance and repair

2.Establishes policies, procedures, and standards to achieve operational objectives

3.Oversees selection and training of qualified IT Ops unit to ensure efficiency

4.Supervises IT Operations Team in the delivery of ICT services catalog and support

5.Participates in design, implementation, and operation of technical solutions to achieve departmental goals

6.Manages the operation of Kinan datacenters (HQ, Malls, Sales Centers) and other physical IT assets

7.Oversees Backup administration, including tuning, upgrades and maintenance

9.Maintains operational plans for Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and High Availability for all IT Services

10.Escalates any risks/issues to Director, IT with proposals to address same

11.Remains up-to-date on all technologies, and make recommendations for upgrades, new systems, and emerging technologies

12.Oversees asset inventory management

13.Works as part of the IT Leadership team ensuring smooth project & service delivery and resolutions for all user-reported technology issues

14.Provides support and guidance to stakeholders via awareness and communications campaigns

15.Manages relationships with vendors and third-parties used in the procurement and delivery of IT assets and services

16.Controls costs and budgets regarding IT assets and services

17.On-call for emergency escalations during off-hours, weekends, and holidays

18.Other duties as needed to meet business needs

**Requirements**:
**Required Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or similar.
- 5-8 years of experience in IT or business/industry, with 1 or more years of leadership responsibilities including strategy, budgeting, and staffing.
- LAN and WAN knowledge - Internet, fiber, network troubleshooting, wired and wireless.
- Cloud experience - AWS and/or Azure.
- Proven experience working and collaborating with business controls and internal & external audit reviews.
- Knowledge of security controls and user administration.
- Thorough understanding of project management, resource management methodologies, and project life cycle process.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and train staff.
- Ability to work cross-functionally within the business.
- Mentoring and coaching skills.
- Knowledge of and ability to administer personnel actions, including performance, hiring, discipline, and termination.
- Enterprise level experience within the real estate industry.
- Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes preferred.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

**Required Languages & Computer Skills**:
English, Arabic & Extensive knowledge of Microsoft based domain network connectivity, technologies, and protocols.
