The ABB's Process Industries team engineers and delivers automation solutions from device to monitoring and control, ensuring our customers get the most out of their investment. Our digitalization solutions help improve plant and enterprise productivity, while reducing maintenance and energy costs. Deep domain knowledge enables us to truly understand and address the challenges and opportunities of Industrial Automation.
**This position reports to**:
LBU Manager, PI ME
**Your responsibilities**:
- Sell products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.
- Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Sale plans prepare sales plans using company tools. Perform regular status reviews and propose recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
- Define cost for the proposed solution and communicates to customer/sales organization. Provide information to the Risk Review process in accordance with ABB policy and sometimes participates in the Risk Review assessment.
- Ensure efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.
- Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
- Prepare offers in coordination with the sales manager. Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
**Your background**:
- Ideally, you will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, with minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in Sales Management.
- Excellent both oral and written communication in both English and Arabic are mandatory.
