Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our team at Life1 International FZ-LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental strategies and policies to shape our company's sustainability culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Environmental Strategies: Participate in the development of environmental frameworks, policies, and strategies to promote sustainability within our organization and with external stakeholders.
- Communication and Partnerships: Develop a communication plan and partnerships program with stakeholders, including NGOs, government agencies, and businesses, to maximize opportunities for strategic environmental partnerships.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Enhance our company's reputation and integrate sustainability through environmental initiatives and awareness campaigns, showcasing the value of the environment and promoting sustainable practices among stakeholders.
- Culture Evolution: Build the fundamentals of our desired sustainability culture by integrating educational and training programs across our department to support the evolution of our environmental stewardship-led culture.
- Environmental Communication: Develop environmental communication campaigns to enable our employees to become environmental stewards and open opportunities for stakeholder participation in conservation planning and management.
- Technology and Innovation: Assess opportunities for implementing new technologies and innovations to support the success of our environmental sustainability initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Provide a strategic engagement interface with our company's sectors and divisions regarding environmental and sustainability messaging.
- Government and Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate engagement with the KSA Ministry for Environment, Water & Agriculture, as well as other relevant government entities.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to craft clear, compelling messages tailored to different audiences.
- Task Prioritization: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable; able to work in different situations with limited supervision.
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills, with a prominent level of English and Arabic (preferably).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or an Environmental-related degree.
