Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Monitor Project Schedules: Collaborate with project departments to develop, monitor, and update resource-loaded schedules, and report on progress.
  2. Cost Performance and Control: Monitor cost performance, update cost control tools, and prepare budget forecasts to ensure accurate financial management.
  3. Contractual Reporting: Prepare contractually required reports and internal project controls reports to ensure compliance and transparency.
  4. Contract Management: Manage contract scope, including claims, variation orders, and contract/sub-contract administration to ensure smooth project execution.
  5. Invoicing and Risk Management: Establish and manage invoicing procedures, supervise their implementation, and identify, communicate, and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
  6. Process Implementation: Follow and implement established Project Controls processes and Company policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  7. Team Development: Support the development of Project Controls team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  8. Lessons Learned: Identify and share lessons learned to support continuous improvement of project performance and company operations.
  9. Customer Relationships: Build and maintain positive customer relationships with Employer's and Engineer's representatives to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering discipline from a reputable and recognized university.
  2. Experience: Minimum Fifteen (15) years of experience, with at least five (5) years in a managerial position with contractors, in Project Controls roles or related positions.
  3. Project Experience: Experienced in Marine and/or Dredging projects.
  4. Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrated in-depth experience in construction planning/scheduling, cost control, estimating, claims, variations, risk management, and contracts management. Computer literacy, including use of MS Office, and knowledge of Primavera (P6).
  5. Language Skills: Excellent command (written and oral) of the English language.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Previous Experience: Previous working experience as Project Controls Manager.
  2. Advanced Education: Master degree in related areas will be highly welcomed.
