Job Description

This is a dynamic role requiring exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and experience in managing large-scale sales operations. You will play a critical role in shaping the sales strategy and ensuring the team consistently achieves and exceeds performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead a large team of 350-400 van sales representatives in selling an extensive portfolio of 80 SKUs across retail and wholesale markets.
  2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth across all channels, ensuring seamless coordination between field activities and strategic planning.
  3. Take ownership of the sales team's performance by implementing management strategies, motivating the team, and driving operational excellence to exceed sales targets.
  4. Builde and maintain relationships with Foodservice Key Accounts and major FMCG clients to promote the protein product range.
  5. Manage sales to key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, meeting sales targets, and fostering long-term partnerships.
  6. Utilize data analytics to track team efficiency, identify opportunities for improvement, and adjust strategies to maximize results.
  7. Develop and implement sales strategies specific to the processed meat industry to enhance product reach and customer engagement.
  8. Maintain strong relationships with trade partners, leveraging trusted connections to enhance distribution and presence in the market.
  9. Implement best practices for Foodservice customers, ensuring that sales approaches align with customer Ways of Working (WoW) and Route to Market (RTM) preferences.
  10. Evaluate team performance, implement corrective measures where needed, and establish reward structures to maintain motivation and high performance.
