Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Change Management Specialist with 4 to 6 years of experience in ITIL-based Change Management processes to join our team at atmaal.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of managing IT changes within the organization, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations while maintaining a high level of service quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the Change Management process in line with ITIL best practices, ensuring changes are properly assessed, approved, and implemented.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all Change Management activities, working closely with stakeholders, including project managers, IT teams, and business units.
  • Review and evaluate change requests for completeness and impact, ensuring they align with business objectives and priorities.
  • Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, ensuring the correct assessment of changes, including their potential risk, impact, and urgency.
  • Monitor and report on the status of changes, ensuring all are tracked accurately in the Change Management system.
  • Develop and maintain Change Management documentation, including process guidelines, templates, and best practice policies.
  • Support the development of training materials and conduct training sessions for staff on Change Management processes.
  • Ensure that all changes are implemented according to agreed-upon timelines and without significant disruptions to services.
  • Perform post-change reviews to assess the effectiveness of changes and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in Change Management, preferably within an ITIL-based environment.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, particularly the Change Management process.
  • Experience working with Change Management tools and software.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple change requests and prioritize work effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to assess risk and impact associated with changes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • ITIL certification (Foundation or Intermediate) is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement within the Change Management process.
