Senior Sales Specialist

About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Specialist to join our audio visual team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of sales support and internal account managers.
- Support the sales and technical teams in achieving business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts and develop strong relationships with clients.
- Provide pricing and quotations within agreed customer and Departmental SLA's.
- Foster excellent customer service and interface with customer contacts, branch sales teams and Enterprise sales teams.
- Assist in generating sales through support to the sales teams and participating in Sales Support Incentives.
- Prepare accurate and complete sales quotations and documents.
- Liaise with internal departments to facilitate order progress.
- Implement customer-specific special bids and manage support and maintenance contract renewals.
- Engineer Scheduling and overall process efficiency.
Requirements:
- Maintain a high level of knowledge around products and services offered by SCC.
- Undergo training to maintain the high level of knowledge.
- Resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement training matrices and development plans for your team.
- Provide reporting data as required.
- Accurately use internal Information Technology systems.
- Achieve and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Have experience operating inside an end user, reseller, distributor or large vendor environment.
- Have good attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Be able to take ownership of tasks and follow through to full completion.
- Have good organisational abilities and I.T. literacy, especially in Microsoft Office applications.
- Exhibit good interpersonal and telephone skills.
