About the Role

You will be part of a dynamic team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, responsible for creating and completing bids or estimations or quotations based on customer specifications or requirements. This role involves market competitiveness and high margin achievement for the company while adhering to Company regulations, T&Cs, and Risk reviews.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement local Tendering and sales support strategies for local Transformers domestic sales units in coordination with local Market Managers, HUBs, supplying units, and Local FES.
  • Lead the homologation or prequalification of new supplying units into Saudi across different market segments or end users in coordination with Local Market Managers, HUBs, and Supplying units.
  • Oversee all tendering activities associated with local domestic sales units across allocated product groups (DTR, DRY, and Power Transformers).
  • Ensure effective planning throughout the entire tendering stages: Pre-Bid stage, in-queue stage, post-bid stage, and finalization stage.
  • Coordinate reviews and follow-up calls with supplying units (Plants) and demand (FES) to ensure timely Quotes & support and lead RR activities and approvals.
  • Support finalizing post-bid clarifications in coordination with FES and supplying units as needed during the finalization/negotiation stage.
  • Analyze lost-win data and share insights with MM and sales teams, supporting budgetary quotes as needed and overseeing order handovers to Operation sales with full alignment and coordination with FES.
  • Develop proposals through internal and external resources, ensuring they adhere to relevant Hitachi Energy procedures, guidelines, and legal requirements.
  • Identify competitive offers considering market situations and customer conditions, applying approaches like direct sales, consortium, or channel to better serve customers and Hitachi Energy.
  • Capture market intelligence feedback for each tender/product line and record it for analysis (price trending).
  • Validate terms and conditions in each offer and lead Risk reviews and calls, filling the RR database with necessary information in full coordination with local sales organizations, local legal, HUB Contract management, and BU RR.
  • Provide technical support and clarification to Sales teams during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations with customers.
