Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team at Archirodon Group, a leading international contractor in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) market.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team to execute complete international transportation packages of materials and/or equipment until final delivery for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Logistics Planning: Plan, lead, organize and control delivery of material, equipment, parts etc. from vendor's origin to project sites by deploying the most efficient transportation mode (land, sea or air), and by utilizing established frame agreements with Service providers at the balance of safety, cost and time.
  2. Logistical Planning and Contingency Planning: Develop logistical plans at the beginning of the Project and develop logistic contingency plans when necessary for existing operations.
  3. Interface Management: Provide effective interface between Regional Logistics Team and appointed service provider to ensure all expected logistics deliverables are achieved.
  4. Shipment Visibility and Traceability: Provide effective shipment visibility and traceability at all times during project execution.
  5. Documentation and Administration: Provide to the service provider in charge of shipment (forwarding agent, carrier, etc.) all instructions and documents required for a successful execution. Administer and retain transport/shipping and other statutory documentation i.e., custom forms, exemptions, approval etc. to meet audit and legal requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Education: BSc degree in Shipping, Logistics, or relevant field.
  2. Experience: Minimum seven (7) years' experience in Logistics and transport operations preferably in project cargo, freight forwarding or shipping company.
  3. Knowledge and Skills: Very good knowledge of international transport processes, Custom regulations, and procedures. Previous experience dealing with project cargo, breakbulk and containerized cargo. Good knowledge and previous experience in Marine Chartering with direct exposure in Charter Party negotiation, is highly welcomed. Good working knowledge of Incoterms 2010/2020. High mobility and willingness to travel around to international project locations. Fluency in English.
  4. Personal Qualities: Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Is excellent in co-operation and interpersonal skills while working in a multicultural environment. Demonstrate strong drive for results and a can-do attitude. Can prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Is a true team member. Enjoys challenge, working with different cultures and travelling.
