About the Role

We are seeking a Saudi national who is interested in joining our international consultant team. As a Commercial Manager - Project Cost Control Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and assisting the cost consultant on the preparation of contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses, and assisting in the formal execution by the appropriate parties.
  • Advising on the administration of the terms of the building contract.
  • Reviewing measurements and valuations of work carried out by the cost consultant and adjusting variations in accordance with the terms of the contract and agreeing with the contractor.
  • Implementing project cost control and reporting procedures.
  • Identifying all costs associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client charges.
  • Assisting in the evaluation of claims for damages, delays, and additional costs made by the contractor and any nominated subcontractors/suppliers.
  • Advising on the issuance of taking over certificates and ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed, and any requirements relating to completion, document submissions, and approvals are accomplished.
  • Advising on the issuance of performance certificates and ensuring defects are rectified in accordance with the final completion.

Requirements
