Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Retail HR team in Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for all Retail operations in KSA, providing a strategic overview of business development to ensure the existing business is ready for expansion and new stores have the competence to deliver.

Key Responsibilities

  1. HR Function Management

Ensure the HR function of the brand is managed in accordance with country local legislation.

Consultative Advice

Provide consultative advice to managers and staff on a wide range of HR matters, including discipline/grievance and performance management.

Business Planning

Work with Finance and the Expansion team to plan, prepare, and present new store structure and relevant new headcount proposals.

Resource Allocation

Ensure the Service Office is fully staffed and has the resource to support the continuity of existing business and expansion plans.

Compliance and Policy

Work with AF Recruitment and Country Heads of HR to ensure new stores follow local labour law and adhere to company policy.

HR Department Budget

Create, obtain approval for, and manage HR Department budget for new and existing business to support opening plan logistics.

People Agenda

Work with the Director HR - Retail to ensure the People agenda is considered at all times within the overall Business strategy and annual business plan.

Business Partnership

Act as a trusted business partner and coach to country managers.

Requirements

  1. Qualifications

Preferably tertiary or CIPD qualified.

Experience

Minimum of five years generalist HR experience within the retail sector, ideally in Saudi Arabia.

HR Operations

Extensive HR operations experience in Saudi Arabia.

Language

Knowledge of Arabic language is essential.

Interpersonal Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence a broad range of stakeholders.

Personal Qualities

Energetic, solutions-focused individual.

Consultancy and Conflict Resolution

Excellent consultancy and conflict resolution skills.

Commercial Acumen

Strong commercial acumen.
