We are partnering with a prominent Food and Beverage Manufacturer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They are looking for a seasoned Trade Merchandising Manager to join their office in Riyadh and oversee and implement merchandising strategies and plans that support the sales team in achieving or exceeding annual sales objectives, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and enhancing in-store visibility and space utilization.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee the implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and controls covering all areas of the merchandising department activities.
  • Translate the company's strategy into operational business plans for merchandising, ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision.
  • Lead the performance and execution of those plans to achieve functional objectives and deliver the company's strategic goals.
  • Monitor and control the merchandising budget to ensure optimum utilization of resources in the region, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Align and implement merchandising plans to support the sales teams in achieving or exceeding the annual sales objectives for the region, fostering a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Direct the activities of the sales operations team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently and in line with strategic project management plans, policies, and procedures, promoting a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Ensure the implementation of planograms and other merchandising tactics to achieve corporate in-store visibility and full space utilization as per agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), driving business growth and customer engagement.
  • Develop work plans and schedules for allocating work to merchandisers in various cities to get optimum utilization of the available resources, ensuring effective resource allocation and utilization.
  • Continuously monitor and assess the performance of merchandising activities and initiatives, making necessary adjustments to ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives, driving business excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and supply chain teams, to ensure cohesive and effective merchandising strategies, fostering a culture of collaboration and customer-centricity.
  • Ensure the ongoing training and development of the merchandising team to maintain high standards of performance and adaptability to changing market conditions, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.

**Key Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in trade merchandising or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years managerial experience in a related field.
  • Experience in Food and Beverage Manufacturing industry is a Must.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
