Job Overview

Weatherford, a leading organization in the Energy Oil and Gas Drilling Exploration industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Project Director. In this pivotal position, you will play a crucial part in supporting operations with a focus on processing, coordinating assets, and managing purchasing activities for the region. As Project Director, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional services while upholding the highest standards of corporate governance, safety, and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and optimize underutilized assets in the region to maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage expendable supply stocks in each location to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Develop and implement a hub and spoke distribution plan to streamline inventory management.
  • Coordinate capital equipment purchases and key product agreements with the Houston purchasing and materials management group to drive purchasing volume.
  • Provide support to operations/administrative departments, including inventory/asset tracking, marketing, accounting, corporate development, regional, and field operations.
  • Collaborate with domestic operations to arrange for the movement of rental, fishing, and other service equipment to optimize utilization and revenue.
  • Serve as the region's focal point for conducting searches to avoid purchasing, sub-renting, or transferring equipment to meet job requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Weatherford's Quality Policy and all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Workplace Instructions.
  • Understand and adhere to all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
  • Deliver high-quality work assignments and perform various other duties as assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in directional drilling business.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial level in directional drilling.
  • Preferred experience with Aramco Saudi business or GCC countries.
