Security Engineering Manager

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Security Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the design and implementation of physical security measures to ensure the safety and security of our assets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive security designs for our projects, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Lead project teams in the development of security specifications, scope of works, and project plans.
- Conduct site visits and document project progress to ensure timely completion and quality of work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of security-related activities.
- Review and approve threat and risk assessments, concept and detailed master plans, and security designs to ensure compliance with company guidelines and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with security vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of security solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on security-related matters, including physical security methodology, access control systems, video surveillance systems, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure the efficient commissioning of security assets and conduct regular security audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Perform other duties as required to support the success of our security program.
Qualifications: A degree in a security-related field or a related discipline.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a security management or project management role, with a focus on physical security design and implementation.
Extensive experience in the security industry, with a strong understanding of security best practices, regulations, and industry standards.
