About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Partner Development Manager, where you will play a key role in driving top-line revenue growth and overall end-customer adoption across all market segments through partner engagement.

The ideal candidate has both a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level, and a sales/technical background that enables them to easily interact with enterprise customers and field sales reps. You should have demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop deep and trusted relationships with executive leadership of our Consulting Partners by gaining a comprehensive understanding of their challenges, goals, and long-term vision for the Africa region.
  • Develop and execute ambitious business plans with these partners to accelerate AWS adoption by customers in the region.
  • Drive AWS relationship and business practice across stakeholders ranging from Client Partners to Business Unit Heads to Technical Practitioners.
  • Help these AWS Partners accelerate their cloud practices and help bring to market compelling solution offerings that will help customers accelerate their cloud adoption.
  • Be a trusted advisor and thought leader capable of sharing industry insights, best practices, and strategic guidance to empower partners.
  • Collaborate with AWS sales, marketing, service teams and other relevant internal teams to develop tailored transformation roadmaps to our partners and help execute those engagements.
  • Prepare and present business reviews to senior leadership, both internal and external, and effectively communicate market realities, partner needs, and strategic recommendations to progress the partnership.

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience
