About the Role

The Director of Online Automotive will lead our sales team, develop and execute sales strategies, build a high-performing sales team, and drive revenue growth in the online automotive market. Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the online automotive market
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment
  • Sales Team Building: Recruit and build a strong sales team, ensuring it is well-equipped to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Client Acquisition: Oversee client acquisition efforts, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Revenue Growth: Set ambitious revenue targets, monitor progress, and take proactive steps to achieve and exceed sales goals within the automotive sector
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in the online automotive sector
  • Sales Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the sales team
  • Sales Collateral: Develop and manage sales collateral, presentations, and proposals tailored to the online automotive market with the Marketing Department
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular reporting and insights to the executive team on sales performance and market trends

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 7 years of experience in senior sales roles, with a strong preference for candidates with a proven track record in the automotive industry
  • Extensive experience in sales leadership, client acquisition, managing teams, and exceeding revenue targets in the online automotive sector
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team management skills
  • Proven ability to build, develop, and manage high-performing sales teams
