Insurance Business Development Director

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a seasoned professional to lead and develop the insurance business line.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new business opportunities, defining strategic growth paths, maintaining key account relationships, and collaborating with governmental and regulatory entities, as well as other departments within Nahdi.

Business Development:
  • Responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Develop strategic insurance and credit relationships with key industry stakeholders through conducting business meetings, presenting Nahdi, and being aware of market dynamics to drive future business growth and maintain relationships to ensure business continuity.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Nahdi's various departments, such as operations, finance, and legal, to seamlessly onboard new clients and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Development and management of comprehensive business development strategies to drive significant growth in Nahdi's insurance and credit client portfolio.
Contracting:
  • Manage the contracting process through alignment and cooperation with stakeholders for new contracts (for key accounts).
  • Execute contract initiation activities (for key accounts) efficiently.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with external entities, such as insurance providers and credit agencies, to ensure flawless contract execution.
  • Maintain oversight of contract performance, identify potential issues, and proactively implement corrective actions to maintain positive client relationships.
Cross Functional Alignment:
  • Serve as a liaison between credit accounts and internal departments to respond to challenges and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular business review meetings with Credit Sales Accounts.
  • Collaborate with different departments to identify and drive business growth opportunities.
  • Resolve claiming and collection challenges through collaboration with Account Receivables and Treasury teams to ensure timely collection.
Department Management:
  • Oversee team performance by monitoring KPIs, coaching, and providing performance feedback to ensure achievement of set objectives.
  • Develop systems and processes with internal and external stakeholders based on each contract and account specifications and requirements (financial, legal, and operational) to ensure optimum business performance.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with CCHI and other governmental organizations with the support of Nahdi's regulatory department to capture all regulatory updates and requirements.
