Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Dean, including preparing documents, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Document Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Meeting Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute meetings, conferences, and events, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing materials.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Website Management: Monitor and update the College of Business website, ensuring accuracy and relevance of information.
  • Marketing Support: Assist in the development of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and press releases, to promote the College of Business.
  • Guest Services: Welcome and assist guests, including newly hired staff and faculty, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Orientation Programs: Plan and prepare orientation programs for new faculty and staff, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Agenda Preparation: Assist the Dean in preparing agendas for Advisory Council and AU Board of Trustees meetings.
Internal and External Relationships

The successful candidate will work closely with the Dean, College of Business staff, faculty, and students, as well as external stakeholders, including AU offices and departments.
