Job Title: Inventory Forecasting and Planning Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Forecasting and Planning Team Leader to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain end-to-end data analysis capabilities within the Supply Chain, leveraging data analysis pipelines and multiple supply chain and engineering datasets.
  • Lead the development of the Inventory Forecasting and Planning (IF&P) capability, including people, toolsets, and processes.
  • Support a culture of evidence-based decision making across the supply chain and wider business.
  • Champion the benefits of data analysis across the business.

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will have a computing discipline background with experience in a fast-paced data analysis/decision support environment.
  • Broad experience of SQL, Excel, KPI build and reporting, data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant Engineering Field is preferable.
  • Extensive experience within Inventory, Forecasting and Planning, Data Analysis, Demand Planning, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of project management and project control principles.
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to quickly develop an in-depth understanding of cross-functional datasets, the synergies between them and the business rules that apply to each.
